Dr. Chet Ayres

Owner

Dr. Chet Ayres is a graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is the owner of Town & Country Animal Clinic where he practices small animal and exotic medicine. Dr. Chet Ayres has been married to Janet for 30+ years and they have 2 grown children, Kristin and Clint, a fat cat named Blake, and he now has a dog named Rosie to keep him and Janet busy. Chet has sat on the Board of Health for Perry County for many years. In his spare time he enjoys riding his Harley, spending time with family and friends, target practice at the gun range, and traveling.

Janet Ayres

Practice Manager and Receptionist

Janet works in the capacity of Practice Manager and Receptionist. She has been married to Chet for 30+ years. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas and McDaniel College. Janet has 2 children Kristin and Clint, the same fat cat Blake, and Rosie to keep her and Dr. Ayres busy. Her favorite things are spending time with her kids, traveling, anything outdoors, reading and riding her motorcycle.

Paula Parker

Receptionist and Technician

Paula is primarily a receptionist at Town & Country Animal Clinic, but fills in as a technician occasionally. She has an AAS in Business Management from HCTC and when not at work she stays busy with her two children, Jahson and Kaleigh, her two favorite pit bulls, Roxy & Prime, a chinchilla named Henry and Chloe the turtle. She enjoys spending time with her significant other, Darryl, among other family and friends, playing board games & cards, getting lost in a good book and watching comedy until she cries.

Belinda Neace

Veterinary Technician

Belinda was born and raised in Lost Creek, Ky where she has always been surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses. She is the proud mother to an extremely amazing son, Preston Ray. She has 3 wild dogs, a Golden Retriever named Jekyll, a Chihuahua named Brody, and a Jack Russell named Minnie. Belinda is currently taking veterinarian technician classes through the DEVTP program at Dallas Community College. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, hunting, and riding four wheelers.

Regina Rice

Veterinary Assistant

Regina works as a vet assistant, although she has been a human nurse since 1992. She has always enjoyed spending time with animals since she grew up on a small farm. Regina currently shares a home with her girlfriend Jenny and their sweet cats, Hank, BB, & Boots. They also take care of Gina’s parents’ Jack Russell, Molly. Gina loves to hunt; fish, and spend time outdoors riding four wheelers and enjoying life.

Tamara Sapp

Receptionist and Technician

Tamara works as a receptionist and has several years experience as a technician as well. She and her husband, Jonathan, raise vegetables and chickens in their back yard under the careful supervision of their lab mix, Dolly. She also spins her own yarn for knitting and crochet projects under the watchful eye of her kitty, Hank. Tamara is constantly plotting ways she can convince her neighbors that a pair of sheep are actually large, fuzzy dogs.
